Regular price $250.00

If Only this Tree Could Talk   35cm x 35cm x 3.8cm SOLD

This is an oil painting on a stretched cotton canvas ready to hang. The edges are deep and painted black. This painting comes with its unique story and a certificate of authenticity.

If Only this Tree Could Talk: This is part of a series I am doing of some of my favourite places in or close to, Templestowe. This one is in Westerfolds Park. Westerfolds Park offers some 120 hectares of recreational and environmental parkland. Together with my children we have walked and ridden along many of the tracks. We have stood in awe of many trees, dead or alive. This painting depicts the contrast of the human and nature world – the path and the overhead wires all to help us communicate and stay connected. But I think one of the most important things is to stay connected to the natural world – it has so many things to teach us.
